"We are thrilled that our film resonated with people and honoured to be part of the amazing CUFF.Docs lineup. Thanks so much to the festival team and the audience that gave us their vote." – ROSEBUD, ALBERTA Director Eric Pauls

JURY AWARD WINNER
Jury Award Best Documentary Feature: LOS REYES (Directors Bettina Perut and Iván Osnovikoff, Producers Bettina Perut, Iván Osnovikoff, Maite Alberdi)
Jury Statement: For its unique storytelling and intimate creativity, we the jury are awarding this year’s CUFF.Docs jury prize to Bettina Perut and Ivan Osnovikoff’s LOS REYES. The film provides a beautiful guide through a Chilean skatepark through the perspectives of two street dogs, offering up a glance upwards at a world of youth, culture, and the looming adult world. Constructed with care for its canine subjects and the spaces around them, LOS REYES manages to quietly craft emotional arcs that leave a long-lasting impact that lingers on well after the credits roll.
