Live Script Reading: Now, I Am A BearCanada, 2023
Join a cast of actors for a live script reading of the absurdist comedy NOW, I AM A BEAR. The feature is a bittersweet exploration of nostalgia, regret, and the drive we all feel to get back to nature, whether nature likes it or not.
This is a FREE event, open to the public, and a great opportunity to experience a film in the early stages of development. There will be a Q&A following the reading and the production team are open to script feedback.
Set in a near-future where disaffected people are abandoning society to live as cosplay animals in the wild (yes, you read that right), NOW, I AM A BEAR tells the story of one broken man who decides to leave his problems behind and become a bear; struggling for survival, searching for peace, and running from a truth he can’t ever escape.
