CUFF has two annual festivals that we look forward to welcoming you to.
CUFF.Docs Documentary Film Festival: Nov 18-22, 2026
CUFF's 5-day documentary film festival starts on Wednesday, November 18, with a reception the evening before for visiting and local filmmakers.
The CUFF.Docs 2026 program will be announced, and tickets go on sale October 28. There is no official industry accreditation for this festival. Passes go on sale October 21.
Calgary Underground Film Festival: April 15-25, 2027
The 24th Calgary Underground Film Festival officially starts on April 15, but plan to arrive by April 14 if you want to take in CUFF's National Canadian Film Day celebrations. Industry events are planned for opening weekend when most visiting guests are in attendance.
Industry accreditation opens February 1, and film submissions close February 2. Festival passes go on sale and the 2027 program is announced in late March.
