Summer just got a lot shorter for Raphael Tinski. It's 2007 and the peak of emo-culture is in full swing. Raphael just got arrested by a psychotic cop. Raphael just fell in love with a girl at community service. Raphael might get blown up by nukes. He’s a good kid, so you can't blame Raphael for the events that unfold after his arrest. None of it is Raphael's fault, but it is his problem.

DIRECTOR'S BIO
Maxwell Nalevansky and Carl Fry are long-time collaborators and best friends heralding from New York and Austin, respectively. While working on set together on the critically acclaimed LINGUA FRANCA that Maxwell production designed, they realized they shared a common artistic vision. They've since been working together non-stop, uniting Carl's background in VFX and dark humour with Maxwell's background in production design and offbeat filmmaking style to create rich visual experiences driven by captivating narratives. For both Maxwell and Carl, RATS! is incredibly personal: the events that occur in RATS! are all rooted in their experiences.
