FIFTEEN
Mexico, Argentina, 2026: 99 minutes: Canadian Premiere
description
Two best friends preparing for their quinceañera face desire, cruelty, and social pressure – until one girl’s body begins to transform into something monstrous.
Ligia and Mayte are inseparable – two teenage girls counting down to a quinceañera that promises glamour, status, and a new version of themselves. But after a traumatic sexual experience, Ligia’s body begins to change in unsettling ways, turning adolescence into something visceral and terrifying. Blending coming-of-age intimacy with body horror, FIFTEEN explores consent, power, and the fear of growing up in a world that watches, judges, and consumes young women.
