Made for under $15,000 and featuring a scene shot on location at the original TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE house, FRIDAY THE 69TH embraces the charm of low-budget horror and DIY spirit of films like EL MARIACHI while delivering a bloody fun time for fans of cult cinema.

DIRECTOR'S BIO
Alex Montilla is a filmmaker from Parkland, Florida who developed his one-man band approach while making movies in high school. He later gained experience in the editing rooms of HOT TUB TIME MACHINE and THE MUPPETS, on the sets of HOP and THE HANGOVER PART III, and producing for ESPN. His short films OVERKILL (2019), USER_ (2021), HORRORGPT (2023), and CHEAT DAY (2012) have won awards at festivals around the world. FRIDAY THE 69TH is his first feature film.
