I LOVE BOOSTERS - CLOSING NIGHT FILM
United States, 2026: 105 minutes: International Premiere
description
A crew of professional shoplifters take aim at a cutthroat fashion maven. It’s like community service.
Hip-hop legend and visionary filmmaker Boots Riley is back with I LOVE BOOSTERS. After the ground breaking communist manifesto that was SORRY TO BOTHER YOU (CUFF 2018), he brings his colourful maximalist style back to the Bay Area and has no plans to rein in the weird. With an all-star cast including Keke Palmer (NOPE), LaKeith Stanfield (SORRY TO BOTHER YOU), and Demi Moore (THE SUBSTANCE), this is sure to be one of the most talked about films of the season.

"[Director Boots] Riley delivers a sophomore effort that's outrageous, provocative, and really f*cking fun."- Mashable
"It’s a lot, but that’s Boots’ style. The ADULT SWIM energy is strong here ... and the satire is sharp in the way that shattered glass flying every which way from a shotgun blast is."- Rolling Stone
