Learn about the work of Harm Reduction within Calgary as we follow local non-for profit grassroots organization Street Cats YYC. Harm reduction according to the National Harm Reduction Coalition “is a set of practical strategies and ideas aimed at reducing negative consequences associated with drug use.” These practices are often stigmatized or radicalized; leading people to have an inaccurate perspective on what harm reduction is and what it aims to achieve. In this documentary, the goal is to educate people on Harm Reduction and give a look into the experiences of real people and erase the stigma around harm reduction.
