MORE MILES THAN MONEY: THE STORY OF JR. GONE WILD

description

A documentary about the rise, fall and rise again of the Albertan country punk band Jr. Gone Wild.

Jr. Gone Wild burst onto Canada’s mid-’80s DIY music scene armed with songs, guitars and no roadmap for the future. A 15-year journey followed as the band worked to make a life in music, with singer/guitarist Mike McDonald and bassist Dove Brown the consistent, beating heart of it all. Their story carried them down a long and grinding road shaped by personal losses, record deals, lineup changes, bad luck and hard choices. Through it all, Jr. Gone Wild forged a distinctive sound rooted in country and rock, while holding fast to an independent spirit and an ethos born of punk.
