SEEN

description

Calgary rock band born from injury, insecurity, and fear of being seen. After a career-altering injury and years of rejection within classical music institutions, a shy musician found freedom in hiding behind a mask. What began as a solo project fuelled by fear of being perceived slowly evolved into SHY FRiEND, a band that embraces imperfections. Through intimate rehearsal moments, stylized live performances, and honest reflection, this documentary reflects SHY FRiEND's transformation from shyness into spectacle, showing that sometimes the mask is what allows the truth to be told.
