National Canadian Film Day

We love Canadian cinema and each year we champion a beloved Canadian film as part of National Canadian Film Day. This year we'll be presenting a free screening of HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME on 16mm. The 1981 slasher directed by J. Lee Thompson revolves around six brutal murders occurring around a popular high school senior's birthday. Exactly our type of '80s Canadian film.

Cast member Lisa Langlois will be in attendance. Get a jump start on CUFF 2019 and join us on Wednesday, April 17 (the week before the festival).
RSVP now for your free ticket
Location: Globe Cinema (617 8 Ave SW)
