OFF THE CUFF: CRAWLERS

When a man returns from a trip unwittingly harboring a new breed of arachnid, the people in an apartment block are quarantined and left to fend for themselves against a plague of venomous spiders.

In CRAWLERS, a catastrophic infestation of venomous and deadly spiders sends an apartment building into lockdown. Trapped inside by a police-mandated quarantine, building manager Serena (Lutz) and her residents battle to survive as the creatures multiply by the second. Armed with her intimate knowledge of the complex, Serena may be the only one who can keep them alive—if she can confront her deepest fear.

OFF THE CUFF is a year-round series presented by the Calgary Underground Film Festival. For those films we just can't make work with our festival dates, we go off the CUFF.
